Director/Executive Producer
Rebecca is the director and executive producer of "24 Days Without You." The film premiered at the Twin Cities Film Fest in 2024 and subsequently won the Audience Award in the documentary category.
She is the original director and lead producer on the musical "Philly and the Dreamer," winner of BroadwayWorld's Best Original/New Work in Minneapolis and has directed several plays and musicals across the Twin Cities metro. Her passion for intimate storytelling led her to approach Annie to share her important message of hope, and she's inspired by the impact Annie and her story are having on improving maternal care.
Executive Producer & AFE Survivor
Annie is a maternal health advocate, speaker, and documentary filmmaker whose journey into advocacy began after surviving a rare and often fatal complication of childbirth known as Amniotic Fluid Embolism (AFE). Following her recovery, she created the award-winning documentary24 Days Without You, which captures the clinical complexity and emotional aftermath of her experience and serves as a powerful tool to improve outcomes for future patients.
Annie's work has been featured in hospitals, academic institutions, and national conferences, where it continues to spark important conversations about crisis preparedness, provider communication, and trauma-informed care. She welcomes collaboration with clinical and educational leaders looking to integrate the film into training, symposiums, or awareness efforts. Annie lives in Minneapolis with her family.
Creative Executive Producer
Carly is a non-fiction storytelling expert with over 12 years of experience in the media industry. She was one of the founding members of the Original Documentaries team at Netflix. As a senior-level executive, she worked on everything from audience favorites, breaking news, and award-winning documentary features, series, and shorts including Oscar-winningfilms such as My Octopus Teacher, Icarus, American Factory, The White Helmets, Period. End of Sentence and Oscar-nominated films such as 13th, Strong Island, Extremis, Heroin(e), End Game, Life Overtakes Me and A Love Song for Latasha.
Carly is known as a strategic business thinker, a leader, and a collaborative creative partner with excellent programming and content development instincts. Throughout her career she has acquired a diverse roster of talented industry relationships both locally and globally. She grew up in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area and relocated here permanently in 2020. She is open to local and remote work.
Cinematography/Editing
Andrés grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, moved to the United States to study Mechanical Engineering and Film and Video production and has received numerous national and international recognition awards for his work as Director and Cinematographer. He has owned VenUS Directions, Inc. since 1991.
As a Director of Photography, Andrés also worked for 2 years as part of a team of photographers for the "Survivors of the Shoah" Visual History Foundation, a project founded by Film Director Steven Spielberg. He has lensed 3 short fiction films for Z and a documentary in 2023 on Jeep Overlanding in Death Valley and just finished his next documentary feature "Searching for the Light."
Vocals/Piano, Original Music
Minnesota-native ELSKA and songwriting partner Owen Sartori started writing in 2019, exploring her deepest passions, concerns and fears. It became clear that music with purpose was going to drive her debut album "On the Shoulders of Giants", which birthed songs like "Stop Talking, Listen," an anthem about the social dialogue around mental health and mental illness, "Endless Winter," an introspection on depression and its crushing weight, and "Hummingbird," a tale of wanting (and deserving) what you can't have. It was during this process that she decided to adopt a stage name that reflected the seriousness, strength and heart of the music itself. She chose ELSKA, which is a Norse word roughly translated as "love."
Composer/Producer, Original Music
Owen is an award-winning songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist with 35 years of performing and writing experience. His talents and abilities earned him many awards over the years, as well as a record deal, but in 2009 he left the stage to focus on writing and producing music for up-and-coming artists. Today, he fulfills one of his lifelong dreams by helping other talented artists see their own dreams realized.
